Sam Reinhart is #1 in the Hockey’s Future 2014-15 Postseason Ranking of the Top 50 NHL Prospects

The #1 online hockey prospects resource, Hockey's Future, announced its postseason ranking of the Top 50 NHL Prospects based on the opinions of staff writers that put the list together.


Strict qualifications were required for high placement in the postseason ranking of the Top 50 NHL Prospects. Hockey’s Future evaluated multiple criteria in order to narrow the field to the best 50 prospects for both fans of the NHL and fantasy hockey players. Among the highest ranked are:


#1 Sam Reinhart – Reinhart, a prospect of the Buffalo Sabres, is a two-way center with a high hockey IQ who played for the Kootenay Ice in 2014-15.


#2 Andrei Vasilevskiy – Vasilevskiy, who is currently competing with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals, is the prototypical big goaltender that is currently popular with NHL teams.


#3 Nikolaj Ehlers – Ehlers, a highly skilled prospect for the Winnipeg Jets, competed for the Halifax Mooseheads in 2014-15.
