According to the latest statistics, most cardiac arrests occur in a public setting and CPR can double or even triple the chances of a person surviving the incident. Studies have suggested that bystander CPR helps around 46% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims to survive.

Richmond Training Concepts has been educating residents in all of Virginia and its surrounding areas for almost a decade. The company offers different life-saving courses that they believe most people should know. The company emphasizes that while no one wishes life-threatening events to occur, it is best to be prepared when they do.

The newly updated schedule of classes considers local health guidelines to limit social gatherings. Each of the five classes has around six different time and date slots for students to choose from. All classes will require participants to wear a face mask unless a student has a medical reason for not being able to. To encourage social distancing, students must register online.

Richmond Training Concepts reminds students to take the class that suits their job or specific needs. As such, the company encourages students to call them beforehand before registering.

Classes need to have at least three people attending to push through. Students who want to attend a full class may call the training center to ask for additional slots.

Students must pass both the written and skills exam to graduate from any class. Once they do, students are given a card as proof that they attended and passed the certification class. Each certification card is valid for two years. After this time, students are encouraged to renew their cards by retaking the certification.

With the latest announcement, the company continues to expand its range of high-quality first-aid classes.
