Boutique local marketing agency Tabletent Marketing today announced a partnership that will allow restaurant owners to advertise on the best websites and apps for free and only pay for in-store sales

Boutique local marketing agency Tabletent Marketing today announced a partnership with Empyr and Umbrella Marketing that has the potential to rapidly scale up and deepen its customer base. This partnership is a play that might get big blocks of customers on board. Empyr recently introduced CPR — a platform designed to verify when consumers respond to campaigns by visiting and making purchases at brick-and-mortar stores. The intent of CPR is to help brands target their efforts on ads that produce real world results.

The deal with Tabletent Marketing makes CPR highly visible and available to restaurant owners across the country. Tabletent Marketing comes on as a channel partner with the sole objective of getting more local restaurants onto the platform, which can be distributed through a network of 1,500 participating websites and apps such as Bank of America, Hilton Honors, Southwest Airlines, Yelp and Coupons.com . Rather than restaurant owners paying blanket fees for ad campaigns, the CPR platform ensures that customers pay for results: “The local restaurant owner only pays when someone links up a card, walks in and buys from them,” says Lakeita Greene, owner of Tabletent Marketing.

Through this new relationship, Lakeita says, Tabletent Marketing will record and report online impressions that restaurants make via publishers’ sites. They will show how many of those customers then visited their stores, and how much money they spent. This service will be branded under Tabletent Marketing with Umbrella and Empyr providing the software behind it all.

Currently Empyr’s platform can potentially reach, through its publishers, more than 100 million consumers. More than 30,000 local businesses are currently on the Empyr platform, and the new partnership with Tabletent Marketing opens the door to ramp up that clientele with restaurant owners. “Tabletnet Marketing touches tens of thousands of local restaurants — it’s a massive number,” Lakeita says. “There’s a lot of scale we can bring.”
