-- The Arizona Personal Injury Attorneys at Torgenson Law are Proud to Announce the Recipient of the Renee Torgenson Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was named after John Torgenson’s amazing grandma, Renee Torgenson, as a way to honor a wonderful life full of helping people with honesty, truth, and respect. When they think of the definition of unconditional love, they think of John’s fantastic grandma Renee.
At Torgenson Law, they are dedicated to the advancement of equality, impartiality, and access to justice for everyone, regardless of what their economic situation may be. As such, they decided to award a law student who shares their values and strives towards a career of helping others in the same spirit as Renee Torgenson. The scholarship was available to any and all current law students enrolled in an accredited law school in the United States who demonstrate a passion to use justice to improve their community while helping people within their research, volunteer work, prior job experience, and extracurricular activities.
The $1,000.00 award was given out to a student who submitted a 500-word essay that Torgenson Law thought exhibited the values and career goals that Renee Torgenson would have loved and been proud of. A review committee read through the more than 70 essay submissions. The award recipient, Camden Weber, from the University of Connecticut Law School, was chosen because Camden exhibited a passionate and moving spirit for defending equality and democracy for all. Camden showed a strong sense of duty to help the people and communities who need help the most.
Torgenson Law looks forward to advancing truth, equality, and justice for all through the Renee Torgenson Memorial Scholarship for years to come. Just like Grandma Renee would have loved.
