During this new speaker series, we are offering our clients and those interested, a chance to engage and discuss topics that are of utmost importance in our community. We are partnering with experts in various fields to bring you insight on a broad scope of topics relevant to your everyday life.
For our inaugural Quarterly Speaker Series session, we are pleased to welcome Jennifer Grzech to speak about a high-interest topic among our clients: Responsible Investing. Jennifer Grzech is a director and member of the responsible investing (RI) team at Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America). Prior to joining Nuveen in 2019, she began her financial services career in private equity where she led the integration of environmental, social, and governance factors (ESG) in investment processes. Jennifer received her M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago and graduated with her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Kentucky.
Responsible Investing is a strategy and practice to incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions and active ownership. During this program, viewers will come to understand the multi-layers of Responsible Investing, and how to implement this strategy when dealing with their finances.
