About Dr. Tadi Ciszak
A board-certified vascular and interventional radiology specialist, Dr. Tadi Ciszak will practice at Precision Vascular’s newest location in Sherman, Texas, as well as the main office in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Ciszak specializes in minimally invasive treatments for vascular disease, with a strong focus in amputation prevention (limb salvage) and wound healing. Dr. Ciszak says “Interventional radiology provides a minimally invasive approach to complex disease treatment, optimizing patient outcomes and minimizing the possibility for complications. This is the philosophy of our field and something I adhere to for every patient.”
For his undergraduate education, Dr. Ciszak attended Columbia University, graduating in May 2008. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in May 2013. He continued to complete his diagnostic radiology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the prestigious Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to joining Precision Vascular, Dr. Ciszak practiced at the Lakeland Vascular Institute in Lakeland, Florida.
Dr. Ciszak excels in the treatment of complex lower extremity venous and arterial conditions. He offers state-of-the-art conservative treatments including angioplasty, atherectomy, stenting, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), thrombectomy, as well as numerous other minimally invasive procedures. He is especially passionate about treating peripheral artery disease (PAD). “PAD is a chronic condition that, if not treated, can range from life limiting claudication (pain with walking) to poorly healing wounds and amputations. This is where a vascular specialist can play a big role because if diagnosed and treated early, the course of PAD can be reversed in the right patients, with improved quality of life and ultimate limb preservation.” Dr. Ciszak says.
Dr. Ciszak is dedicated to helping patients live more actively. Says Dr. Ciszak “Patients are my top priority. Each patient’s disease is unique and personalizing a treatment plan for each individual leads to the best outcomes.” He believes a team approach gives the best treatment results. From the initial consultation to the post-procedure follow-up, the entire Precision Vascular team collaborates while empowering the patient to join them. He is proud of the care and commitment Precision Vascular gives to their patients.
Dr. Ciszak is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology. He maintains his skills by staying active in the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and has published and presented his research results at national and international conferences.
In his free time, Dr. Ciszak enjoys staying active with swimming, cycling, soccer and hiking. He also enjoys cooking. He is currently accepting new patients and warmly welcomes them to Precision Vascular.
