Once enrolled in the program, participants can expect to pass through three phases. These comprise warm-up, focus on technique, and freeroll/resistance training. During the warm-up phase, participants will have the opportunity of engaging in several BJJ training-specific conditioning exercises.
These conditioning exercises, according to the spokesperson, helps one to develop whole-body strength and flexibility while at the same time serves to elevate one’s heart rate in preparation for the training. Phase two will entail improving one’s personal techniques along with building combinations, setups, and counter techniques.
During the resistance training and final phase of the three, participants will be taught how to apply their previously learned skills against uncooperative opponents. For this to be a success, trainees will pass through several partners of varying body types, skills, and strength levels.
Among the benefits that one can walk away with from the free trial are stress-relief, quality friendships, problem-solving and critical thinking, along with humility and patience.
