For more information please visit the website here: https://pocatellofallultra.com
The Pocatello Fall Ultra mountain bike race will utilize the City Creek Trail system, with a loop that travels through a variety of terrain and 75% of the track being on a single track.
This makes it hugely enjoyable to ride, and lends itself to some of the most spectacular scenery and mountain biking trails in the area. It is guaranteed to challenge the stamina and abilities of each participant while ensuring they have a fun time.
Mountain bikers can enjoy over 45 miles of single track and over 9,000 feet of elevation gain as they ride. The course is a loop, starting in the historic downtown area in Pocatello, before riding to the base of Scout Mountain and back.
Everyone is encouraged to sign up to race, with two packages available on the site provided above. The 50-mile race covers 9,000 feet of elevation gain over 45 miles of single track. It boasts three fully stocked aid stations, and cash prizes for the top three finishers.
The 35-mile race features 6,500 feet of elevation gain over a looped, all-single-track course. T-shirts are provided for each racer, along with a swag bag with prizes for the winners.
A post-race lunch will be provided for all the participants by The Sandtrap, so that everyone can have an enjoyable day to remember.
The race website states: “The course is a loop starting in historic downtown Pocatello and riding to the base of Scout Mountain and back. If you are looking for a race to challenge your endurance, you won’t be disappointed.”
