PINCC - Preventing Cervical Cancer Globally releases information on how its new PINCC Store offers products created by HIV-positive women in Kenya.

Earlier today, PINCC – Preventing Cervical Cancer Globally, announced the launch of its new store front, the PINCC Store. The PINCC Store, launched in November of 2018, now offers hand crafted products locally sourced and created by impoverished women in Kenya. These women are all HIV-positive and are assisted by WEEP (Women Equality Empowerment Program) by teaching them valuable skills and trades such as tailoring, woodworking, bead work, and other arts and crafts.

Currently, there are many organizations that assist those in poverty in low and middle income countries, but often, there are high administration fees that are deducted from donations and proceeds. An administrator at PINCC, Davis Miskell, makes a point of saying “We are excited to offer something better; PINCC now offers products locally sourced and created by women in Kenya and around the world “.

Davis Miskell continues… “At PINCC, 100% of the profits are returned to the women who make these products and support life-saving PINCC missions. We do this because we believe this new service will help Kenyan women drastically increase their income and improve their quality of life. It also serves as an orphan prevention initiative, empowering HIV/AIDS positive women by providing women and their children the necessities of life while the mothers are taught a trade to support their family. All of the products are made entirely from the women in this organization. This is going to be a huge benefit to customers also because our patrons will appreciate the high quality products which are made from one-of-a kind fabrics, stonework, and bead work. Each item is beautifully handmade and includes the name of the local artisan in Kenya on the tag.”

Although the products are available locally in Kenya for sale, most women can not sell their goods very far from home. However with the help of PINCC’s global reach, they are empowering local women to share their crafted gifts with the world. With PINCC’s help, women across the globe can drastically increase their income and improve their quality of life.

PINCC – Preventing Cervical Cancer Globally was established in 2009.

PINCC also accepts charitable donations to help fund their operations. Here is a list of associated costs where donated funds are typically applied:
