Outdoor Survival is run by Sue whose family have enjoyed the outdoor life for decades and have experience in hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, zip lining and white water rafting. The company believes in the Scouts motto of ‘be prepared’ and know that by taking the correct equipment out on an adventure means the difference between life and death. Through this store they have curated a collection of affordable and essential pieces of equipment that give outdoor adventurers peace of mind and the potential to save lives.
The store stocks various multi-purpose kits and includes the Outdoor Survival Kit 7-in1. This handy kit comes packaged in a red S.O.S tin that also serves as a fire combustion container and is neatly sized for packing at 9.5 cm by 6.5cm. The tin contains a compass, aluminium whistle, wire saw and a flint stone for fire starting. There are also two multi functional tools included, with the first one combining an LED flashlight with a knife, scissors, bottle opener and screwdrivers. The second tool is a card knife with screwdrivers, wrench, saw and ruler.
Another multi-purpose kit is the Survival Tool 10 in 1 which is described as the essential survival tool for camping, hiking, boating and fishing. Inside this 7 x 4 cm plastic case is a compass, a 3x magnifier, thermometer, mirror and a whistle. There is also a fire starter, level, ruler, LED light and a Hygrometer. This handy and compact kit is completed with a wrist strap for ease of carrying.
Another popular product in the store is the Paracord Survival bracelet which comes in a pack of two and there is a choice of six colours. These bracelets are 22.5 cm when worn as a bracelet and can unwind into an essential five meter rope. They are also a 5 in 1 multi-tool and contains an emergency whistle, a fire starter, a compass and a serrated edge scraper/knife.
