Per the official website, recent statistics reveal the escalating crisis, with 520 children deceased, 1,193 injured, 2,229 missing, and 19,546 deported or forcibly displaced as of January 17, 2024. These numbers underscore why HOPE—Children of Ukraine’s work has become increasingly vital.
The foundation operates with a team of 9 members and has delivered over $30,000 in assistance value across 3 years of continuous operation.
“Every child has the right to a quality education, growth, and a chance for a bright future, regardless of the trials they have endured,” said a foundation representative.
Supporters can contribute through monthly sponsorship programs starting at $30 per child or $50 for specific program support, which funds career guidance courses and individual psychological consultations. In addition to direct donations, the organization recently launched Hope Shop, featuring products designed by Taya Salenko, a young artist from Kherson. Proceeds from each purchase support children under the foundation’s care, combining style with charitable impact.
The nongovernmental organization launched in spring 2021 with free English language courses and has since grown to serve over 300 children through personal development initiatives, counseling, and relief projects.
Arthur Olshansky was born in Ukraine before moving to America at age 6, where he built a successful technology career. His personal history fuels the organization’s commitment to transforming lives disrupted by war.
