New Peer Mentoring Event For People With Diabetes Being Held Online For Free

Daniele Hargenrader, Diabetes Coach, bestselling author of Unleash Your Inner Diabetes Dominator and organizer of the new Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit, announced their Peer Diabetes Mentoring event will be held online for free from November 1st through the 7th.

People with diabetes and their loved ones looking for the latest information on the Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit can register to attend Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit scheduled for the first week of Diabetes Awareness Month: November 1st through the 7th at http://peerdiabetessummit.com

The Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit is the nation’s premier diabetes empowerment and community building online event. The program features over twenty-four people with diabetes that are renowned peer mentoring experts teaching people with diabetes how to succeed in life with diabetes emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially and mentally. Founded by Daniele Hargenrader, Diabetes Coach, founder of Diabetes Dominator Coaching, and bestselling author of “Unleash Your Inner Diabetes Dominator,” the inaugural event is expected to garner over 250,000 views worldwide.

According to the American Diabetes Association, the presence of diabetes DOUBLES the odds of comorbid, loneliness-fueled depression. The Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit aims to change that for the better.

The summit will teach newly-diagnosed and people who have had diabetes for years how to succeed in life emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially and mentally, most areas which are almost completely ignored in standard medical practice as it relates to living with diabetes. By merging education, empowerment, and community into seven fun, life-changing days from the comfort of the attendee’s own home or smartphone, the Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit is reinventing the way people with diabetes are prepared for their day to day lives managing a chronic disease that never gives any breaks.

Attendees at the Peer Diabetes Mentoring Summit learn these must-know strategies for sustainable success, living happily and healthfully throughout life with diabetes:

-How to navigate the intense emotional overwhelm, feel successful every day, find great friends and a support system like no other, and manage their emotions so that they don’t have to drown in depression like so many living with diabetes have experienced.

-How to increase self-efficacy and the desire to participate in the often tedious and overwhelming day to day, hour to hour practices that it takes for people who have diabetes to live happily and healthfully, lower stress and anxiety, manage time, and feel closely connected to a community and a movement.

-How to master their emotions so that they can handle problems, avoid unhealthy relationships, summon courage, live to their values, chase their dreams and passions in life, and consistently feel positive, engaged, empowered, and fulfilled.

-How to build life-long friendships, gain the support of medical professionals and coaches, respect diversity, and create an empowering, dependable network of empathetic peers.

-How to train their physical body and maintain a healthy nutritional lifestyle so they can have the energy needed to manage their diabetes, their job, and their social life.

-How to make dramatic, positive differences in their families and social circles, in their communities, and throughout their careers.

These topics are taught by the host and over twenty-four peer diabetes mentoring experts and educators. After the inspiring, content-packed seven day summit, the attendees are provided continuing education and support throughout their lives via newsletters, tele-seminars/webinars, group coaching sessions, resource lists, and more.

When asked about the reasons behind creating this event, the host of the event, Daniele Hargenrader said: “More often than not, when we are first diagnosed with diabetes it can feel like our lives are over, like we’ll never be able to live out our dreams or live our lives fully, and so many of us feel like we’re are all alone. This summit is a powerful way to let people with diabetes know they are not alone, and that they can live the life of their dreams with diabetes.”

A completely optional VIP Access pass will be available for purchase and enable attendees to view the summit at any time even after the event is complete. 50% of all proceeds from the VIP Access Pass will benefit these four non-profit partners: Diabetes Hands Foundation, the Betes Organization, “We are Diabetes,” and the Faces of Diabetes.

The summit has a global reach thanks in part to the promotion of partners: Children with Diabetes, Bolus and Barbells, Beyond Type 1, The Fit Blog, and the DANII Foundation.

The summit has been made possible by sponsors: (Platinum) Diabetes Daily, Diabetes Dominator Coaching, (Gold) Dexcom, Medtronic, Abbott, Roche, (Silver) Dario, and (Bronze) Omnipod.
