Earlier today, Ironman West announced the launch of its updated pick up and delivery service for ironing, laundry and dry cleaning in the Auckland area.
Ironman West sought out a solution that would make pickup and delivery as convenient as possible for the customer, yet help to maintain a cost effective service. Using a unique online app called Clean Cloud, which was already tested in the UK, they were the first Dry Cleaning company in New Zealand to take on board this new technology. It allows customers to order ironing, laundry or dry cleaning services, directly from their smart phone.
The new app is designed to setup a direct link from the customer to the dry cleaning business, in this case based in Mt Roskill central Auckland.
After extensive testing with their existing customers, the updated service went live in June 2018. For anyone with even a passing interest in the world of ironing laundry or dry cleaning, this new development will be worth paying attention to, as it’s set to shake things up, just as technology has disrupted many other industries.
Business owner Hari Kandula says “The new app makes it very convenient for the customer. They only have to set it up once then ordering ironing, laundry and dry cleaning services is just a few clicks on their smartphone. We get lots of feedback from customers who say they can now find better things to do on their days off”
