A keen walker and gardener always looking for an excuse to get outdoors Rose Wood is launching her brand new range of travel journal/notebooks. “Travel Journal” is available now through Amazon and is expected to become a big hit with Motorhome, RV, Camper and Caravan enthusiasts and journal keepers alike.

This is the first travel journal Wood has created. Its aim is to encourage others to record their adventures, holidays and travels ‘on wheels’. There’s also particular excitement about this launch because Wood is a former librarian who used to discourage writing inside books. But who could resist, when every holiday, outing and road trip is special to those making it?

Travel Journal provides space and prompts to record highlights, routes taken, events, food/dining, places visited and what to remember for next time. Readers will likely find a particular interest in the A-Z index feature. No more arguments over what readers did or when and where they stayed. Record place, attraction and camp site names easily with page number of each main journal entry. Now readers can answer those niggling questions such as ‘When did we visit X?’, ‘What year did we stay at Y?’ and ‘What was that place called again?’

Rose Wood has a background in education and research. This helped shaped the creation of the book in no way except to instil the desire to get outdoors more often.

When asked about why she created the book, Wood said: “I’ve always kept diaries/journals and love that sense of anticipation and excitement at having a special place to record thoughts and experiences, particularly when it comes to holidays. Life is so busy and time away is precious. Who wouldn’t want to treasure every second? I wanted the format to be useful and easy for people to fill in – a mix of prompts and space to write freely.”

Wood has hopes that the book will encourage others to write about their adventures and preserve their own happy memories.
