-- Amanda Carluccio, a dancer, choreographer, and an influencer has been spending most of her time creating TikTok tutorials to help the millions of people on the platform learn the famous so called “TikTok dances.” Although there are many other dance teachers who have been teaching these dances on the famous platform, Amanda attributes her success to consistency. She always posts the actual dance providing credit to the chorographer with the music before her tutorial as well as positing every day.
Amanda posted her first dance tutorial on TikTok on October 8th, 2020 during Quarantine. It blew up and within 2 months she went from only 34 followers to 130k and climbing, with her most viewed tutorial reaching 1.7 million views. She explains, “I love seeing people of all ages learn the dances I teach! When they understand the choreography, it shows in their dance and their faces, and it makes me so happy! To me, this platform is all about having fun and forgetting about the stressors in your life, so I am glad I can be a scapegoat for some during this difficult time.”
Amanda has been dancing since she was three years old and continued her dance career as a competitive dancer in college at Towson University. She then went on to become captain for the Towson University Dance Team her senior year where she led her team to victory winning their 13th Consecutive Collegiate National Dance Championship Title. Amanda currently resides in NJ and teaches dance for Summit School of Dance in Summit, NJ. She plans to continue creating TikTok tutorials in hopes to inspire others. She also has big dreams of curating her own activewear and clothing line one day.
