As part of its expanding service department, Colas introduced new Hino Hybrid trucks and called on Hidrive to assist with its service body requirements. The trucks were specified for breakdowns and repairs, with critical safety. Colas technicians needed to carry a range of equipment out on the road, including generators and air compressors.

The Hidrive service bodies also feature a flush floor system, weathertight seals, undertray rope rails, and GVM compliance. They are made from aluminium, which is lighter than steel and does not compromise strength. They also maximise branding space and roof rack storage potential.

"We also used our innovative design and manufacturing system that allows us to build the service body before we receive the truck, saving weeks or months in the cycle to get the Colas' assets on the road faster."
