The Digital Wellness Check and Report includes a 52-point digital inspection report, which is emailed or texted to each customer, free of charge. According to Brian Nerger, Manager and Owner of Nerger’s Auto Express since 1989, the launch of the new Digital Wellness Check is just one more way the local business aims to deliver premium service to customers.
“We’ve been here for more than 30 years because we are dedicated to raising the bar of excellence in both auto repair, and customer service. We mean it when we say that we really do care about our customers and their cars. So, we are always on the lookout for ways to provide our loyal customers with added value,” Nerger said.
During a typical auto repair visit, including brake repair, tire repair, belt and hose replacements, electrical system repairs, alignments, and more, Nerger’s Auto Express technicians conduct a 52-point inspection of the vehicle, taking photographs, and making notes on everything under the hood, and on the exterior. All of the findings are compiled and provided to the customer as an easy-to-read digital report.
“Details of the inspection are documented in an easy to understand electronic report. Each item is categorized as red, yellow, or green. Much like a traffic signal, green means the inspection point was in good shape, and you’re good to go. Yellow indicates to proceed with caution, as there is a pending issue, that needs attention, but perhaps not immediately. Any issues identified as red would indicate you should stop, and take the time to repair the issue,” Nerger explained.
The Digital Car Wellness Report from Nerger’s Auto Express is sent to each customer, via email or text message, so that the customer can save the report for future reference, and their own record-keeping.
The response from customers who have received the Digital Wellness Report has been overwhelmingly positive, says Nerger. “Our customers have already given us great feedback on our free digital car health reports. They appreciate that the reports help them to be aware of necessary auto repairs that will be on the horizon.”
Continuing he said, “They also like that we don’t push them to make repairs on the spot. Instead, they can read for themselves, and see photos of potential problems, then make the best determination for when they will make these repairs. This has been especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic when many people are facing financial hardship and trying to limit contact with others.
