Share this news:

Hearing At Home LLC announces updates to its Nano range of over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids for people with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss.

The announcement details the advanced features of Nano's four flagship devices, providing options for both completely-in-canal (CIC) and behind-the-ear hearing aids. From the entry-level CIC2 to the Sigma Plus, which offers app control and multi-directional microphones, the range has a device for every budget and style preference.

The Nano devices are all rechargeable which saves users the significant expense of having to regularly replace batteries. For charging on the move, the CIC2 and CIC4 models come with a portable pod-style charging case that delivers up to two full power cycles. Once charged, these hearing aids provide up to 12 hours of continuous use. All devices come with a 12-month warranty as well as a 45-day return and refund policy.

As OTC devices, none of the Nano range requires a prescription or any type of formal hearing test. The products are FDA Class 1-registered and are deemed safe for use without the need for a professional consultation.

The CIC2 and CIC4 models are extremely discrete hearing aids, fitting snugly in the ear canal so as to be virtually invisible. They ship with a variety of tips and domes to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Orders also come with a user manual, cleaning accessories, a plug, and a charging cable. Audio levels are adjustable to provide clarity in a range of environments. The CIC4 has four program settings compared to the CIC2's two and also adds feedback cancellation and noise management features.

The CIC2 is available for $297 while the CIC4 costs $397. Refurbished versions are also available via the Nano web store.

The BTE options include the X2 which provides up to 14 hours of use on a single charge along with more advanced amplification and noise reduction technology. The aids are small and sit comfortably behind the ear with subtle clear tubing that feeds the earpiece into position.

A spokesperson says, “Ask about our 1,2, or 3-year comprehensive protection against loss, theft, or accidental damage as well as our Trade-Up program. Our customer service team is ready to help you at all times.”
