Four speakers inspire New England. From Boston’s Comic Con to WFSB’s Better Connecticut, the speakers at FUN Enterprises excel in spreading their motivation techniques and inspiring stories to the Northeast and now expanding to Tacoma, WA.

TACOMA, WA – August 28. FUN Enterprises, Inc., event entertainment and management company outside Boston, MA, celebrates the recent accomplishments of its motivational and educational public speakers.

In addition to providing programs and performers to private, college, and corporate events, FUN Enterprises offers engaging educational, training, and consulting sessions lead by nationally acclaimed speakers. They cover a variety of topics including leadership, motivation, inspiration, communication, customer service, goal setting, current events, life opportunities, mindfulness, and social responsibility. Speakers include: trainer and consultant, Michael Miller; writer, Amma Marfo; historian and illustrator, Joel Christian Gill; and journalist and author, Michele McPhee.

Michael Miller is a leadership trainer and consultant who has spent the last 15 years with FUN Enterprises, traveling the country speaking at colleges, universities, and corporations. Miller has recently brought his energetic motivating practices to Connecticut, appearing as a regular on WFSB’s afternoon program, Better Connecticut. In his latest appearance, Miller addressed the need for relaxation, providing viewers with three ways to be more relaxed. Past topics have included how to choose the right college and how to lose weight. Miller’s next appearance on Better Connecticut will air on September 20th.

Amma Marfo, author, educator, and motivational speaker, will be a breakout speaker at the INBOUND 2017 Conference this fall. She is one of over 150 breakout speakers who will address the conference. INBOUND 2017 is a global conference that seeks to provide inspiration, education, and connections to marketing and sales professionals from businesses big and small around the world. The event will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from September 25th through the 28th. Marfo’s session, entitled “Lighting Up Your Team’s Introverts,” addresses the archetype for sales and marketing professionals and illustrates that the talents of introverts is valuable to this field, even if not readily apparent.

Joel Christian Gill, author and illustrator of several black history graphic novels, recently appeared as a panelist at the 2017 Boston Comic Con. On Sunday, August 13th, Gill joined a panel of Boston-area comics creators who share in their experience of moving from independent self-publishers to established professionals. Gill discussed his experiences developing his work, pitching to publishers, and building his career. In an interview for Boston Comic Con prior to the panel, Gill shared, “In the last 10 to 15 years, people are starting to see that comics can do more than just tell stories of superheroes. Comics are telling the story of real life superheroes, like John Lewis’ March and memoirs like Alison Bechdel’s Fun Home. They are telling really complex stories in a way that film can’t and a way that pros, by itself, can’t.” Gill’s own graphic novels share the true stories of the unknown heroes of black history like the Motorcycle Queen of Miami, Bessie Stringfield and Bass Reeves, the first black deputy U.S. marshal west of the Mississippi River. All three of Gill’s graphic novels are available on Amazon.

Bestselling author, Michele, McPhee, received praise for her most recent true crime narrative, Maximum Harm. This true account unravels the complexity of the Boston Marathon bombing of 2013 and provides a new perspective on an infamous day in American history. “Maximum Harm is riveting—a tribute to the first responders, and, startlingly, a troubling exposé of the FBI’s botched handling of the Tsarnaev brothers” says T.J. English, New York Times bestselling author. “You may think you know this story, but until you read this book, you don’t.” The New York Journal of Books describes the book as “Graphic. . . Heart-wrenching. . . Passionate.” Maximum Harm is available now on Amazon.
