Prior to the Holidays and the New Year, December brings the top legal and financial networking event in the 14th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar to be held at Nova Southeastern University on December 11th. The seminar is hosted by three major non-profit organizations: United Way of Broward County, the Community Foundation of Broward and the Jewish Community Foundation. Attendees will be provided with a brief introduction to each of these incredible organizations and about the impact each has on the surrounding community. The attendees will also have the opportunity to become educated on the topic of estate planning and trust services by some of the top professionals in South Florida. Leading these professionals is local estate planning and asset protection attorney Michael D. Wild, managing partner of Wild, Felice & Partners, P.A. Michael will be chairing the event and representing United Way of Broward County, an organization he firmly believes in. Michael shared his feelings on the importance of non-profits such as United Way when he stated, “Protecting your family is so important, which is why building a proper estate plan is crucial. Most individuals don’t realize that a strong and safe community is another component to protecting the future of your loved ones. Organizations like the United Way of Broward County do just that; they focus on creating a better community. It is important to consider including such organizations in your estate plan. Planning for your community creates a better plan for your family and their future.” With more than 700 professionals expected to attend, the event is sure to be a success. The 14th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar and Breakfast will be held on Friday December 11 at Nova Southeastern University’s Rose and Alfred Miniaci Theater. Tickets are available for $50.00 and sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
