Terence (Colonel-Terry) Anderson was a Soldier, Olympian, mentor, statesman, patriot visionary entrepreneur. His interesting life has seen him travel the world and experience many ups and downs. He is currently facing a battle with cancer. His comrades-in-arms wish this great soldier a speedy recovery.

-- Soldier, Olympian, mentor, statesman, patriot visionary entrepreneur, Terry changed and improved many lives for the better. Terry the mentor focused on “the positive”, maintaining can-do-attitude even in the face of adversities. 2003, his wife filed money-grab divorce ending with Terry spending 2-years in a low security “club Fed work-camp”; sentenced under the tax-code by an activist Judge for non-payment of $3,200 transfer-tax. Fellow soldiers see this conviction as a travesty of justice, as it was non-payment of tax on legally acquired museum-quality firearms; gifted and secured while CEO of $300-million 80s defense company. His ex-wife cajoled the judge to gain an advantage during her money-grab. Her stupidity depleted their estate-value by $14+-million, screwing herself and kids out of many $-millions.

Terry, adopted at age 4 after father’s death, started his real-estate business at 19, arriving in these United States in 1973. After moving real-estate operations from Australia, he quickly established as a business leader by building $85-million company. And representing U.S. in Olympic shooting, a 27 year member of U.S. shooting-teams.

Focused on mentoring, Terry coached Brazilian and Israeli Olympic teams. A member of 1980 U.S. Olympic Team, Terry was appointed U.S. national pistol coach. Back to competition, selected for the 1983 PanAm-Games, Terry won two gold medals setting PanAm-Games and world records. Terry won 17 national championships, numerous PanAm and Hemisphere Games medals for U.S., a member of 1980 and 1996 Olympic teams, competed in numerous CISM Teams (military Olympics), retired from competition (with world ranking of 17) after winning silver in 2002 U.S. national championships.

Terry received his US citizenship in 11 months, wow! Enlisted as Army-Reserve private in 1973, by 2005, he completed his military career as senior-staff officer, the U.S. Army General Staff; serving 5 years as Assistant-Chief, Congressional Liaison (worked budget issues with White House and Congress for homeland-security/Army intel-budgets).

The Pentagon? As a Reserve Engineer Captain, Terry was assigned to N.S.A. and in 1985 was re-assigned General Staff, Army Corps Engineers (USACE). At USACE 11 years Terry ran USACE-EOC during wars and disasters; responding to San Francesco earthquake in 1989, Terry dramatically improving U.S. management of disaster operations. Terry solved disaster-response manpower shortages by conceiving/developing RESDRO. Further, activated to support the Iraq war, Terry managed USACE’s Kuwait City rebuild after its destruction.

RESDRO was given its test in 1992 during Florida’s Hurricane Andrew. This success generated congressional and military acclaim for USACE and immediate promotion to Lt.Colonel. RESDRO was upgraded, managed U.S. disaster response operations and used to manage rebuild of Bosnia in the 90s and later Afghanistan, Haiti, Iraq, etc.

As a Cold-War warrior, life was not always risk-free. Terry joined the board of a “black programs” defense company in the early 80s and became CEO immediately after selling his real-estate company in 1985. The defense company maintained a “secret” security clearance (Terry held Top-Secret clearances). While CEO, Terry negotiated various contracts worth over $300-million awarded by Assistant Secretary of Defense, supplying Soviet aircraft (fighters, bombers, helicopters, etc.) to DoD. These aircraft were primarily used for Operational Test and Evaluation (missile and destruct testing). However, while dealing with one supplier, the leadership of a Soviet ally in 1987, Terry was beaten and left for dead by their secret police. Fortunately, his friends rescued him and the Pentagon airlifted to hospital. He arrived with untreated compound fractures, many-many broken bones, massive infection and less than 24 hours to live.

Terry developed Israel’s Olympic shooting program after 1976 and was recognized by Prime Minister Rabin as “our Architect”. At Israel’s request, he was attached to Israel’s army by the Pentagon, attached to a combat battalion and distinguished himself in battle. Israel called on Terry once again and, in April-2007, Israel’s government requested the Governor of Texas appoint Terry Chair of the new Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce. Terry immediately appointed 56 board members, represented Texas in Israel for a number of years, working with and mentoring 30+ hi-tech companies.

Terry built nine successful business from scratch, one became the 2nd largest data-recovery/forensic company. His latest company, “100% Gold backed cryptocurrency”, was pure genius. In 2013 an old friend introduced him to Breytenbach, an Australian taxi driver. Terry invested both money and 100% of his time, mentoring Breytenbach. Breytenbach’s story appealed to Terry’s “mentor-self”. Breytenbach, an aspiring computer technician, fled his South African government commitment, had severe brain damage after a motorcycle accident requiring many years convalescence. Terry wrote, funded and implemented a business plan and paid for Breytenbach’s training and weekly salary from September 2013. Terry, as CEO, mentor and “system architect”, hired support contractors to train Breytenbach and work with him as he recovered from his injuries.

Terry conceived the concept “100% gold backed cryptocurrency” in March-2016 after reviewing an “investment request” from Foley, his friend of 40 years and a board member of a gold-mine. This Australian gold-mine had fundraising problems, while paying its CEO who lived in Brisbane and Dubai (a tax haven). Foley asked Terry to invest $70-million for large-% of Citigold shares and output. After years trying to raise capital, the mine was having problems. After 6 months R&D, Terry presented Lynch and Foley his cryptocurrency fundraising plan in September 2016. Terry was introduced to CEO-Lynch back in December 1999 by Foley. The audacious plan called for the sale of “100% gold backed cryptocurrency” to generate more than $70-million for Lynch’s gold-mine, allowing the gold-mine to purchase robotic-mining equipment. Terry signed contracts with CEO-Lynch early December 2016, raised funds to develop and implement the cryptocurrency and managed the release of “world’s first 100% gold backed cryptocurrency, backed by 100,000 ounces of 24k gold”, 10 March 2017.

Obituaries have sad endings; however, this has the potential for happy ending. Terry has been fighting cancer since the Iraq war of 2003 and in April was told he was “terminal”. Terry researched options, received a 2nd opinion and is responding well! His comrades-in-arms wish this great soldier and patriot a speedy recovery.
