As all eyes turn to Houston and the devastation from the Biblical rains that have deluged the southeastern region of Texas, organizers of the Marketplace Master Dealership Series and Expo, are turning their concerns into action.
“Organizers of the Marketplace Master Dealership Series have made a donation on behalf of the all involved with the three-day dealership training event — organizers and attendees — to the American Red Cross,” said Beto Paredes, co-founder of the Marketplace Master Dealership Series https://www.MarketplaceMaster.com set for Sept. 6-8, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.
Paredes personally visited the Houston area the week before the storm as part of pre-planned marketing efforts for the conference. While he and all Marketplace Master organizers are concerned for the well-being of all who live in the region, he just visited dozens of franchise and independent dealers in the greater Houston area.
“I just spoke with so many dealers, managers and sales associates just 10 days ago, and now I’m seeing dealerships and inventory submerged under five feet or more of water,” Paredes said. “Knowing that there is so much suffering wrenches your heart, but after personally meeting with and speaking to so many, you become emotionally involved.”
Paredes said he encourages others in the automotive retail and training industry to find a worthy organization to give money, or volunteer their time to in the coming days.
