CLEVELAND, OH and LAS VEGAS, NV – Grandmaster Manuel Taningco launched his Kali America Program with a series of Filipino Kali Seminars in Cleveland, Ohio on June 21-22, 2019 in North Ridgeville, Ohio nearby Cleveland at Tony Marcial’s Philippine Martial Arts Academy and on June 29, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada at Master Airr Phanthip’s Lak Muay Thai Lao Gym. At the 2019 Century Martial Arts SuperShow held at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV from June 29 to July 3, 2019, Grandmaster Taningco also launched Kali America as a premier global online Filipino Kali training resource. Taningco notes, “This two-pronged approach of live and online training allows people to study material at their own pace and on their own schedule, then receive live interaction with me to receive minor corrections and ask other questions.” Tanincgo’s Kali America program already has endorsements from Filipino martial arts (FMA) authority Guro Dan Inosanto and Ateru Goju Karate 10th Dan Hanshi Kevin Cullen.
Kali America is the vision of Grandmaster Taningco, inspired by his family’s Filipino Kali heritage. Along with his family Filipino Kali heritage, the Kali America program also includes the influence that Taningco has received over his 56 years of compiled Filipino martial arts (FMA) knowledge from notable experts like Dan Inosanto (FMA/Jeet Kune Do), Leo Gaje (Pekiti Tirsia), Remy Presas (Modern Arnis), and Cocoy and Dionisio Canete (Doce Pares). Taningco noted, “With Kali America, we make online Kali training available 24 hours a day no matter where you are. The program can be adapted to meet your personal goals and is suitable for the novice or expert.” The official launch date for the website (kaliamerica.com) is scheduled for late August, but one can get on the mailing list to receive updates for the online training and upcoming seminar locations and dates. Taningco will average two seminars each month with future in-person seminar dates already set for Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina, and Florida.
