Immigration attorney Tania Morris-Diaz joins the growing team at immigration law firm, Lincoln-Goldfinch Law. Morris-Diaz officially joined the team on April 25, 2022.
Morris-Diaz brings to the table five years of experience working in the field of immigration. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a concentration in Latin American studies from the University of South Alabama. She also pursued Social Sciences for a year at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM).
In 2013, Morris-Diaz enrolled in the Juris Doctor program at the University of Michigan Law School, where she graduated in 2017. She grew up with a fascination for justice and the rule of law due to her father’s work as a social scientist. Her mother’s standing as an immigrant motivated her to work in the field of immigration.
Morris-Diaz believes that immigration is an ever-present aspect of American life. To her, working with immigration law is not just a matter of working the system. It also involves real people with real stories that she likes to listen to so she can better help in their immigration cases.
This is one reason why she joined Lincoln-Goldfinch Law. The firm was founded by immigration lawyer Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch. She built the firm with the goal of fighting for justice and dignity for immigrants. Morris-Diaz found that her own approach to immigration cases matches the firm’s mission.
