Family law and domestic relations litigator Jason P. Hopper Esq. partnered with Lewellen & Strebe Family Law to form Lewellen Strebe & Hopper, Family Law Group. Hopper’s family law practice is based in the firm’s Sacramento office and represents clients in family law matters primarily in Sacramento, Placer, Contra Costa, and surrounding counties for the firm.

Hopper has a proven track record dating back to 2007, where he has served as legal counsel representing individuals in family law and domestic violence restraining order litigation.

A focal point of his career is divorce and paternity cases, where child custody issues and domestic violence and abuse claims are primary factors.

Hopper said he stands out as a family law attorney because of his ability to shepherd clients through the often bewildering and frustrating aspects of the legal system, coupled with his dedication to achieving high levels of litigant satisfaction and results.

Hopper has excelled in representing domestic relations cases in the past decade, being recognized consecutively as a Northern California Rising Star by SuperLawyers.com for the past four years, as well as being named an Indiana Rising Star by SuperLawyers in the years 2011-2015.

“I take seriously the privilege of gaining a new client’s confidence to call me their attorney and always strive to counsel clients on areas of where they can achieve the greatest return on investment of their hard-earned dollars,” Hopper said.

Hopper is a licensed member of the California Bar, the Indiana Bar, and the United States Supreme Court Bar. He restricts his law practice to issues that include divorce, child custody, domestic violence, spousal support, and post-judgment modifications from initial negotiations and temporary hearings to trial and appeal.

“I make it my goal that every client can leave their initial consultation feeling that there is a path forward in their case, and that the plan of attack laid out is promptly and aggressively executed upon,” Hopper said.

The addition of Hopper is a part of Lewellen Strebe & Hopper, P.C., expansion efforts to represent more litigants in domestic relations cases in the greater Sacramento and Bay areas.

Hopper began his law career as a family attorney for Sever Storey, LLP, and later Hollingsworth & Zivitz P.C. in Carmel, Indiana.

In 2010 Hopper joined the national domestic relations law firm of Cordell & Cordell, where he served as a regional managing attorney and later the firm’s “lead litigator” attorney in the State of California. In his time with Cordell & Cordell, Hopper managed legal teams in the State of California and throughout the Southwest and Midwest.

Hopper received his Juris Doctorate in 2007 from Western Michigan Cooley Law School and his Bachelor’s Degree in 2003 from Wabash College (Indiana). He is originally from Peru, Indiana, and currently resides with his wife and children in Roseville, California, where he is an active member of the Placer and Sacramento County Bar Associations.
