The webinars will be held from 12:00pm – 1:00pm on February 16, March 2, and March 16 and will be moderated by Byron Roth from The Alternative Board Lehigh Valley.

Many business owners in the Lehigh Valley are in contact with business coach and consultant Byron Roth and have expressed concerns and issues they have run into with current and new hire employees as a direct result of the pandemic.

According to Roth, “In putting this series together, I wanted to come alongside business owners and provide them with valuable advice on critical issues related to employees they’re facing right now during the global pandemic. The panelists who will be joining me bring expertise and insight into the difficult issues of managing their workforce that is applicable to every business owner with employees.”

The first webinar on February 16 will feature Rebecca Warren from Norris McLaughlin who will speak about legal issues with the constantly changing legal requirements in large part because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She will address how to remain compliant to protect your business and maintain consistency with your employees to ensure they are protected.

Dick Lively of RAI Resources will be featured in the second webinar on March 2. He will provide insight on navigating the new normal in employee hiring and management. His discussion will cover virtual recruitment, how to keep remote workers engaged, and instituting furloughs and layoffs in ways that are consistent, compliant, and compassionate.

The third and final webinar on March 16 will feature two presenters, Amie Allanson-Dundon and Amy Previato from the St. Luke’s University Health Network. They will address mental health concerns for employers and employees working in a virtual environment with the anxieties and stress related to COVID-19. This session will help employers to recognize difficulties and remain engaged with their remote employees during the pandemic.
