New Haven, Connecticut – Hewlett Packard drives “business first” approach to mobility by unveiling a new line of meant-for-enterprise devices in 2015. Latest Laptop Computers introduction of the new tablet from Hewlett Packard is set to do the same.
The 32 GB tablet offered by the Connecticut based online digital retailer features a Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm with Quad core. It has a standard memory of 2 GB and a screen resolution of 1600×1200.
According to a spokesperson from the ecommerce website, “A lot of businesses now require employees to work on the go. Deadlines cannot be missed when a business’s revenue depends on it. The new HP pro slate 12 will hopefully give harried employees the chance to process tasks when they don’t have access to desktops.”
Vice president and general manager of Personal Systems at HP has this to say, “Mobile devices are changing how we live and work, and they also pose significant challenges to IT departments who have to support their now mobile workforces while keeping corporate data managed and secure.”
The device is also capable of turning pen to paper drawings into digital files. Its Duet Pen comes with built in microphones which are designed to imitate pen strokes and transform them into digital files.
“Employees are often seen working at coffee shops and cafes. And no one likes to risk accidental spills on official documents and paperwork. The HP Pro Slate 12 is very light which makes it easy to carry around and store in a bag or case,” says a spokesperson.
