Largest Holiday Youth Soccer Tournament Returns to Kansas City Labor Day Weekend

Heartland Midwest Classic, the largest holiday youth soccer tournament returns to Kansas City this Labor Day weekend. The tournament will be played September 4-6, 2020 at two of the best soccer specific all-turf complexes in the world, Scheels Overland Park and Garmin Olathe Soccer Complexes.

This holiday weekend, September 4-6, 2020, Heartland Soccer Association will host the Labor Day tournament, The Heartland Midwest Classic presented by Museum at Prairiefire, at the Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex and the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex.


The Heartland Midwest Classic is set to attract over 200 teams from the region and showcase competition from across the Midwest ages 8 to 19. Interested teams can register at https://www.heartlandsoccer.net/heartland-midwest-classic/ by August 10, 2020.


“The Midwest Classic has been a tournament staple for over 30 years,” explained Shane Hackett, Heartland Soccer Executive Director. “We are expecting a large number of teams to participate this year as the return to play in progress. The tournament will be featured at two of the best soccer specific all-turf complexes in the world – Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex and Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex.”


Games kick off at 7:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, with the award ceremonies set for Sunday early evening. Executive Director, Shane Hackett, will be available for pre-event and on-site interviews.
