St. Louis, Missouri (April 25, 2018)- Keller Williams Cares is a charitable organization started by Keller Williams agents who were looking to reach out and support fellow employees facing financial hardships due to major emergencies. This public charity is now supported by associates from all across North America, including Liberty Consultants. They raise money through Keller Williams market centers and regional offices to provide assistance to employees and their families in need through one-time grants. Keller Williams Cares also helps other organizations aligned with their values and mission. They donate a tithe of 10 percent to other charities that include Ryan’s Well Foundation, Homes for our Troops, and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Ryan’s Well Foundation provides access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education in some of the poorest regions of developing countries. Their mission is to encourage others to contribute and change the world. Their current focus is communities in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Togo), East Africa (Kenya and Uganda), as well as Haiti.
Homes for our Troops builds and donates specially adapted custom homes for severely injured veterans. They build homes nationwide for veterans injured after 9/11 to help them rebuild their lives. They have built 251 homes nationwide so far, and have nearly 96 projects that are currently underway.
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is in the fight to end cancer. Their donations are used to contribute to innovative patient care, research, education, and prevention programs. With decades of experience, top national rankings, and leadership in cancer prevention, their groundbreaking research and innovative clinical care provides new therapies for their patients.
Keller Williams Cares has had many happy outcomes from associates that received financial help in their time of need. In 2017, this organization awarded 716 grants that totaled $4,423,775 to employees and their families. They were able to help provide disaster relief in places such as Texas, California, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Keller Williams Cares is an organization that cannot function without fundraising and donations.
