After much anticipation, KCMJ 93.9 FM LP announces cannabis community talk radio show focusing on cannabis education, information and civil discourse.
“Cannabis is a $1.3 billion industry in Colorado, and is not going anywhere,” said Dennis Apuan, Founding Board Member at KCMJ. “While we have seen a number of benefits with legalization, it continues to be a divisive topic in the community. With the new show we hope to offer this open dialogue, on air, and encourage listeners to take part in this important weekly discussion.”
Show host, KC Stark, coined by the media as the “Steve Jobs of Weed,” will be hosting a weekly late night talk show focusing on cannabis in communities, science, politics, business, law and culture. “We are living in the age of cannabis and in the midst of a social, economic, political and agricultural revolution unlike anything we’ve seen since 1933, the end of prohibition and the repeal of the 18th amendment. These are historic times and talk radio will play a critical role in helping to educate and inform our communities.”
The “Cannabis Community Radio Show” will be aired each Monday at 11 PM mountain standard time. Show will feature weekly special guests, local leaders, elected officials, patients, doctors, scientist, as well as, opponents and proponents for fair and balanced reporting on all things cannabis and hemp related.
KCMJ Radio was founded Colorado Media Justice Foundation in 2011 in the hope of bringing community radio to Colorado Springs.
