Devon, based Joinery Solutions (SW) Ltd has joined the UK’s respected Consumer Protection Association (CPA) and now offers consumers even more reassurance.

The Newton Abbot based company is a family-owned joinery specialist. It designs, makes and installs timber windows, doors and other joinery for trade and retail customers in South West England.

More peace of mind for customers

CPA membership means the company can now offer customers insurance backed guarantees, deposit protection, access to alternative dispute resolution and extra peace of mind. This applies to making and installing new joinery as well as joinery repair and refurbishment on residential properties. These include South West England’s heritage listed homes.

Industry-leading support

As well as improving its customer offer, CPA membership also gives the business access to industry-leading training and support, marketing support and point-of-sale literature. These further support customer reassurance.

About the CPA

The CPA was formed in 1993. It’s regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Since then, it’s earned a strong reputation in the fight to remove unscrupulous traders from the home improvement market. It does this through regulation and by raising standards in trades such as windows and double glazing, conservatories, kitchens and fitted furniture. On its website the CPA describes itself as follows:

‘The Consumer Protection Association is a top UK consumer protection agency. A national organisation that has been helping consumers and installers for over twenty years, the CPA is recognised as the number one resource for connecting accredited home improvement installers with consumers.’

Strict vetting

The CPA only offers membership to traders who can prove the ability to give consumers a professional, reliable, ethical service and the highest quality work. To achieve coveted membership, Joinery Solutions (SW) Ltd had to pass painstaking vetting to confirm its professional competence and integrity. The CPA will continue to make regular checks throughout membership to ensure maintenance of standards.

Priceless reassurance for homeowners

Speaking about achieving CPA membership, Joe Lancaster, Joinery Solutions (SW) Ltd’s owner-director said:

‘Even before we got through the CPA’s challenging admission procedures, we prided ourselves on delivering integrity, value and superb quality to our consumer and trade customers. CPA membership gives us trusted independent verification. Having their coveted Membership Licence also gives South West England’s homeowners further priceless reassurance when we provide custom-made joinery and double glazing services. It’s great to be in such a prominent consumer protection organisation – and knowing that this gives our customers more peace of mind.’
