-- GURNEE, IL — August 2025 - CG Granite Countertops, an Illinois-based custom countertop fabrication and installation company, is combining style with social impact at its upcoming Fall Fashion Open House. The event, held in collaboration with fashion brand Cabi, will raise funds for PADS of Lake County, a nonprofit providing shelter and services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 16 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at CG Granite’s showroom in Gurnee, IL. A portion of all sales from Cabi’s new fall collection will be donated to support PADS' mission to offer housing, resources, and long-term solutions to those in need.
“Hosting this event is a chance for us to give back to the local community,” said Josh Garcia of CG Granite. “We’re excited to support an organization like PADS that truly makes a difference right here in Lake County.”
While the event is local, the initiative reflects a growing trend of small businesses using their platforms to give back. By merging a seasonal fashion launch with charitable giving, CG Granite aims to encourage both customer engagement and greater awareness of community needs.
