Earlier today, Hygiene Worx finally announced the release of Poppy Pig – it’s new Automated Foam Hand Soap Dispenser with 20-Second Timer, which has been in development since the start of the pandemic in 2020. The main aim is to help families stay safe and healthy by ensuring that they wash their hands for the required 20 seconds…. but it does so, with a difference.
Belinda Van Graan, Founder at Hygiene Worx, says: “We wanted to try something new with Poppy Pig. Anyone familiar with the Hand Soap Market will probably have noticed how everyone else seems to focus on the touchless soap dispensing. This is a problem because the biggest issue with proper hand hygiene is that humans can not estimate time and almost nobody washes their hands for the required 20 seconds as per the CDC guidelines.”
So as a welcome breath of fresh air, Poppy Pig will instead have a built in timer that counts down 20 seconds with a flashing green light and an audible alarm that alerts kids when they can stop washing their hands. Hygiene Worx chose to make this move because I really wanted my kids to wash their hands properly to protect them from the virus.
Belinda Van Graan also said “We want to give our customers peace of mind that their families are truly cleaning their hands and avoiding all the nasty bugs. With Poppy Pig, they have a fresh new possibility. We want them to feel that their family is protected and safe when using Poppy Pig. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”
Hygiene Worx has been around since May 2020, being established on 5/15/2020. Since Day 1 it has always aimed to help families with proper hygiene.
Poppy Pig is set to launch on 1/4/2020. To find out more, visit https://hygieneworx.com/poppy-pig/
