Earlier today, TEFL Boot Camp finally announced the release of their new TEFL Country Guides, it’s new publications about teaching English in different countries around the world, which has been in development since early this year. The main aim is to give people a good overview of the jobs market for teaching English in a variety of countries and includes connections with reputable recruiters ready to help people land a job… but it does so, with a difference.
Ted Tucker, academic director at TEFL Boot Camp, says: “We wanted to try something new with TEFL Country Guides. Anyone familiar with the online TEFL training market will probably have noticed how everyone seems to struggle to find good and accurate information about local jobs overseas. This is a problem because it is time consuming and difficult to be sure that you have current information.”
So as a welcome breath of fresh air, TEFL Country Guides will be free and online. TEFL Boot Camp chose to make this move because teachers of English overseas need support and help getting accurate local information..
Ted Tucker also said “We want to give teachers confidence that they are getting current and accurate jobs information along with connections with good recruiters for that country. With TEFL Country Guides, they have a fresh new possibility. We want them to feel excited about getting the information they need to head overseas when using TEFL Country Guides. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”
TEFL Boot Camp has been in business for for ten years, being established in since 2006. Since Day 1 it has always aimed to providing teacher training for English teachers.
