Given the increased attention being paid to working from home and education from home, the newly released guide and quiz aim to help parents become more confident with how they’re approaching this new educational approach. This guide also incorporates a quiz designed to indicate the number one homeschool mistake the parent may be making.
The now-available report and quiz are developed to provide results to parents in as little as 60 seconds. The simple quiz begins with gathering basic information, including a parent’s understanding of their state’s homeschooling requirements.
What follows in the just-released homeschooling assessment and guide is a self-evaluation for parents of their homeschooling skill level, from beginner to expert, and the reasoning behind the choice to homeschool. These reasons include a child with special needs, dissatisfaction with the school’s academic instruction, religious or moral reasons, the school environment, or concerns about the current pandemic.
This just-launched guide and report on homeschooling take into account the many potential areas of attention a parent might choose to focus on throughout the day to help guide their teaching. These areas, like following the curriculum as closely as possible or allowing the child to go off-topic to explore a new field, reflect different teaching strategies.
By releasing this new guide, Art of WFH intends to help parents deal with the difference between being a parent and being the teacher. Children may ask why they are studying a certain subject, and parents can use the guide to justify their responses.
This new homeschooling report also aims to get parents to open up about potential challenges and difficulties to more accurately report what their primary homeschooling misstep is. Parents need only enter an email address to receive their free report.
