Home Painters Toronto is proud to announce Brian Young, its CEO and Founder, as Infusionsoft’s 2015 Small Business ICON awardee.
--The 9th annual Small Business User Conference, also known as ICON15, took place from March 31 to April 2, 2015 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona. Young was in the running alongside two other competing firms from the USA, DC Mosquito Squad and Tyler New Media. Home Painters Toronto also congratulates the 2015 Battle of the Apps Champions Jarrod and Dustin Lunt of Graphly.
After receiving the $10,000 prize on stage, Young donated half the amount to Mentors International, an international non-profit organization providing mentoring, microlending, and entrepreneurship in 5 developing countries.
Young also ran a new webinar campaign to share his business experience with others.
2015 ICON – Small Business Award
Brian Young’s win was brought about by a majority of votes from the 3,000 conference-goers and other supporters. Being in business for 25 years, his story won the hearts of the audience by telling how he overcame a decade of struggling sales, by tenaciously adapting to a modern technological marketplace. He then wowed the crowd by presenting how embracing anFrom its outset ICON has been a celebration of thriving
small businesses regardless of industry or sector. Its current Small Business ICON Award winners best exemplify Infusionsoft’s belief that digitization is fundamentally changing the way small businesses market and sell their products
both now and in the future.d implementing Infusionsoft for sales and marketing strategies allowed him to grow his sales over 350% in less than three years.
“I am extremely thrilled to be named as the 2015 Small Business Icon. Words can’t describe how I’m feeling now. Winning an award like this is something I will never forget!” exclaimed Brian Young.
In addition to growing his business 350 percent in revenues, since Young invested in Infusionsoft in 2012 he has lessened his work hours from 80 to 60 per week, increased his customer satisfaction rating from 85 to 98 percent, gone from 200 clients to a database of over 6,000, and made Home Painters Toronto one of the leading full-service painting companies in the Greater Toronto Area. The company began as a one-man army with zero use of technology. Since Infusionsoft and the launch of its website in 2012, Home Painters Toronto has succeeded in landing numerous TV appearances including CP24 Breakfast Television, HGTV’s Custom Built, and various partnerships with other trusted brands and organizations here and abroad.
While the company’s growth in the past few years has been substantial, what Infusionsoft really gave Young was the freedom to pick his 5 year old daughter up from school every day. “There is no amount of increased revenue that can replace the time I can now spend with my daughter every week,” Brian lamented in his presentation. He also spends a lot of his newfound free time playing in his band, ice hockey games, and just recently took up golf. Through the power and automation of Infusionsoft, Home Painters Toronto can now hire the appropriate staff to grow exponentially, and free up considerable time from it’s busy CEO.
