Hillary Clinton has recently been polled with being disliked by 60% of the American voting public. This marks the deepest negative approval rating since the Presidential race began and this coincides with the protests that have finally broken out in Europe and some parts of the US.
The article originally reporting on the progressing ‘Either Way…’ movement, protests and controversy can be found at The Daily Moss.
Donald Trump has been polled with a disapproval of 58%, two points more favorable than Clinton, according to the survey taken towards the end of October 2016. It is suspected a large cause of Clinton’s disapproval comes from a deep mistrust, following an FBI Investigation into thousands of her emails taken from her private home server.
In Europe, largely peaceful protests have broken out arising from the ‘Either Way…’ movement – a demonstration that began with students and has spread to the general public as Europeans take opposition to the next inevitable US Presidency.
The movement began online around T-Shirt designs from satirical site ‘politicalfunny.org’.
Overall, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the most unpopular candidates for US presidency by a significant margin, since approval polls run by the ABC/Washington Post began more than 30 years ago.
Approximately 39% of voters in the poll reported the outcome of the new email investigation would not sway the candidate they chose. One third states it makes it far less likely they would vote for Clinton. A little over 40% of undecided voters state they might still vote for Clinton with an almost equal number saying it makes no difference.
Over 21 million US Citizens have cast their votes already. In some states, including Florida and Colorado, almost a quarter of voters have already put in their ballots. Data is not yet in from California, where the first US-based ‘Either Way…’ protests have been spotted.
The election will take place Tuesday November 8th 2016. More on the ‘Either Way…’ Movement and examples of the popular and controversial T-Shirts can be seen at politicalfunny.org
