Based on principles of leadership, exploration, adventure, and friendship (LEAF), Balance Adventure Camp offers a unique nature-based experience designed to connect children with the great outdoors. Activities can include hiking, fishing, farming, forest immersion, and sports, aimed at building children’s confidence.
According to a recent UNESCO report, physical activity reduces a child’s risk of chronic conditions, such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes. Further, playing outdoors improves children’s social skills, creativity, and independence, with studies showing that it leads to improved mental health and cognitive function.
Led by a team of experienced educators, Balance Adventure Camp offers a wide variety of outdoor play activities in a safe and supportive environment. All team members are certified in CPR and first aid, as well as bringing several unique skillsets, such as team-building and personal confidence.
