Ground Breaking New Class of Helmet Protection

Share this news:

SF Startup is launching the first helmet specifically designed to address the need for a higher class of head protection accelerated by the explosion of personal electric vehicles. The helmet protects riders up to 28 mph, the limit for street legal class 3 e-Vehicles.

XNITO is officially launching their online store to introduce to the world a new class of helmet protection that is able to protect its users at speeds up to 28 mph. The Old School Collection is a retro style helmet with integrated, rechargeable front and rear LED lights. It passes the Dutch NTA 8776 safety certification which specifically targets faster Class 3 eVehicles. As personal electric vehicles take over the market and go much faster than the typical road bike, riders are in need of a helmet that offers more protection. The XNITO helmet is light weight like a bike helmet but provides almost double the protection. It is available in seven different colors and has a dial-fit system that fits most riders from small to extra large head sizes. The new XNITO helmet is intended for e-bike / e-vehicle riders who are in need of more protection but is also suitable for people who ride regular bicycles and simply want extra safety.  Compared to MIPS which provides 10% improvement for glancing impacts, XNITO’s helmets offer an 87% better protection at all angles over standard CPSC helmets. XNITO also hopes that consumers will see the value in future-proofing their investment by buying a higher rated helmet even if they do not currently own an e-Vehicle.
