According to Climate.gov, the 10 warmest years on record have occurred since 2005, and the world’s surface temperature has increased by a full two degrees. This has led to the increasing prevalence of extreme climatic events, rising sea levels, the melting of the polar ice-caps and the extinction of flora and fauna.
