With the new Visit Flo app, tourists can discover local Florence classics like the Pecal Trail Challenge, dining options, and activities for the whole family.

The app conveniently offers detailed listings of dining options, shopping venues, outdoor activities, events, and more, complete with navigation assistance and Google Reviews."
Florence is located at the intersection of the I-95 and I-20, making it a convenient road trip destination or stop on the way. The area has a rich cultural heritage and community spirit, with festivals and events throughout the whole year.
For example, the Florence After Five event is a monthly street party that is held on the last Friday of the month from April to October. The downtown block party features live music, local food vendors, and a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
In November, Florence hosts the annual South Carolina Pecan Festival which attracts 50,000 visitors every year. At this event, visitors can enjoy live music, food, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities.
