A new health and fitness website for Spanish speakers has been launched this month. It is packed with lots of health and fitness articles advising people on safe ways to lose weight and get in shape. Website owner and main contributor, Clare Anderson, launched the site with the help of some of her colleagues.
Anderson says, “After working in the fitness industry for several years and working with clients whose first language is Spanish it became evident that the resources available to Spanish speakers here in the UK was very limited.”
Anderson is a certified Personal Trainer who specialises in nutrition and has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She mainly works with young mums and women who are just returning to work after time away. She hopes her new website will be the go to place for fitness information to Spanish speaking women in the UK. To view the website and see for yourself go here:
The website is called Figura Estetika, which means aesthetic figure in Spanish, and is designed to address the most common issues faced by Spanish speaking women living in the UK ranging from dietary tips, which supplements to take and also alternative workout routines.
Anderson continues,” As the website develops we are looking to add more topics such as beauty and lifestyle which is an area that really interests me. We welcome new contributors and are always seeking new material for the website.”
Anderson and the team of contributors at Figura Estetika aim to grow their readership over the next 12 months and hope to get over 1000 unique visitors every month to their website by April 2016. The Spanish speaking population in the UK is quite large and they hope to capture a chunk of this audience with their high quality health and fitness information.
