CEO and Founder, David Koepsell, J.D./Ph.D., announces a new significant alliance with Sequencing.com and Genomics Personalized Health (GPH). Together, all three comprise a complete genomics solution for consumers and scientists, providing end-to-end encryption, transfer, payment, and analytics for genomic data from individual to lab.

This alliance compliments the introduction of EncrypGen’s MyGene-Chain consumer portal being formally introduced at the Festival of Genomics on January 30 & 31.

“We are excited about adding these two dynamic partners to help bring quality genomic sequencing and end-use application options for MyGene-Chain customers and scientists. There is a growing wave of support for, and desire to adopt our blockchain security and privacy infrastructure. Consumers will benefit from these additions, and will soon be able to opt-in to monetize and take control of their de-identified and encrypted data within a global research and development community. Sequencing.com will even integrate the popular DNA token into its platform, establishing the token as the de facto standard for transfers of value for genomic data” according to Dr. Koepsell.

GPH provides world class whole genome sequencing, and Sequencing.com provides applications to manage genomic data for consumers, while EncrypGen provides safety, security, and payment tools for the movement and transfer of your most sensitive data via their Gene-Chain blockchain and DNA tokens as an in-system mode of exchange to accommodate the global market.

“The blockchain platform has the potential to be the greatest possible form of protection for the privacy and security of genomic data,” noted Co-Founder of Genomics Personalized Health, Min Lee, Ph.D.

Encrypgen has recently enjoyed a number of exciting product developments and continued alliance building among quality value-added service providers. More recently, even among its current and future competitors by establishing The Genomic Blockchain Consortium, announced this past week, and intended to promote consumer choice and portability of data.

Dr. Koepsell notes, “These are very exciting times for the genomic industry for both science and the consumer. This is only the beginning. Soon consumers will not only control ownership of their data, but have immediate, even mobile access, and the ability to use it on a daily basis for personalized medicine, critical health management and daily quality of life applications.”
