"When guests book directly through ECBYO, they pay for the vacation — not platform fees," an ECBYO spokesperson said. "Our model is built around transparent pricing and direct communication between guests and property owners, so travelers know exactly what they're paying from the start."
The platform lists beach houses, condos, and vacation homes across popular Gulf Coast destinations, including Destin and 30A in Florida, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach in Alabama, Biloxi and Ocean Springs in Mississippi, coastal Louisiana near New Orleans, and Texas destinations including Galveston, Port Aransas, and South Padre Island. Travelers can search by destination, dates, and amenities, then contact property owners or managers directly through the listing.
In addition to fee savings, ECBYO says the direct-booking model allows guests to ask specific questions about a property, receive local recommendations from owners familiar with the area, and negotiate flexibility on dates, policies, and special requests — options that are generally unavailable through intermediary platforms.
