Click-A-Brick is pleased to introduce its newest team member, Public Relations Manager Rob Swystun, who has been hired to take the reigns of the company’s continued push into the competitive and lucrative North American building toy market.
Now that Click-A-Brick has established itself and secured a good foothold in North America thanks to a strong showing during the 2014 Christmas season, the company aims to keep riding that momentum throughout 2015. As the company grows, Click-A-Brick wants to add strong team members to ultimately create a cohesive unit that will be able to market the toy effectively and continue to develop its brand presence throughout North America.
Click-A-Brick Brand Manager Georg de Gorostiza said with his journalism background and his marketing education, Swystun brings the requisite skills to the table that Click-A-Brick is looking for at this time.
“We’re thrilled to have Rob aboard. He’s a former journalist so he has a nose for news and he’s studied marketing so he has the theory of it down,” de Gorostiza says. “When you’re carving out your niche in the building toy segment, you need a great team behind the product and we like what Rob brings to the table. We’ll continue to add the pieces we need to in the future until we have the perfect team in place.”
Swystun said he is happy to be a part of a new endeavor and help a young company grow.
“It’s always exciting to be part of something new and I’m glad to be joining the Click-A-Brick team while the company is still getting started,” Swystun said. “It’s a great product and I’m proud to be able to help with promoting it and getting the word out about it. It’s not easy to enter a market that gets multiple new entries each year, but I’m confident we can go toe-to-toe with the bigger brands and make our mark in the toy industry.”
Swystun joins de Gorostiza and Co-Founder Jason Smith on the Click-A-Brick team.
With the spotlight on being educational and helping young children with development, Click-A-Brick has its sights set on being a player in the building toy segment for children ages 3 and up. The company’s first offering of the Animal Kingdom Safari 30pc 5-in-1 building toy set has been selling well since its introduction on Amazon.com.
