By “Printing” new homes using a huge 3D printer invented by Andrey Rudenko of Minnesota, there is a saving of 20-25% on new home construction costs. The key to the program is using the savings for solar shingles, lithium batteries, and hyper-efficient design, while keeping the new home price the same or less.

During peak electric demand, the homes can add more electricity to the grid, reducing the need for building new power plants. They will also charge an electric car for free parked in the garage, use much less water using atomizer on faucets and showerheads, and even grow food in a solarium using Aquaponics. Once prototypes are up, the market will demand Energy Positive Homes that have no heat or electric bills.

The company uses the 3D printer to create the structure of the house in a few days using a specially treated lightweight concrete. The use of the printer allows the owner to choose custom patterns for the structure, rather than the typical forms and shapes of traditional new homes. They will also be safer as they are hurricane, fire, flood and tornado resistant.

Energy Positive Homes, Inc will be running a referral campaign for anyone wishing to support the company’s efforts to develop future 3D house printing innovations. Additional details on the “Referral Bank” can be found at http://energypositivehomes.us/perks-for-your-referral-bank.

Energy positive Homes,Inc. plans to build the first prototype in Eau Claire WI but will quickly expand to other metropolitan regions.
