The leading specialist electrical and telecommunications retailer and services company – which includes PC World, Currys and Carphone Warehouse declared the 45 m2 LED characteristic wall, made up of four individual LED video displays and spread over a 4K resolution with over 4.3 million pixels a complete success.
The p3mm LED video wall was each assembled into an 80mm deep recess with a custom frame enabling front accessibility for care and finished off with a muraspec environment. Completely a total of 1027 modules each measuring 192mm x 192mm were used on the 4 screens which can be used to show content both independently and as one tremendous screen in what became generally known as the “takeover”.
The shop did not stop there either, the success of the LED installment inspired the designers to request that Dynamo LED Screens install a landscape LED video screen measuring 4416millimeter x 960mm above the exit showing custom made content to further improve the digital customer experience befitting of Europe’s biggest technology retailer.
The brand new shop also boasted a custom built, creative LED window screen with 9 separate LED displays that are programmed to reveal the most recent offers alongside producer Logos and videos. The custom built design also doubles as a product display stand which allows the most recent products to sit in addition to it. Daniel Reynolds, director of Dynamo LED when talking about the LED window displays was quoted as saying “One of the things that really stuck out for me was the vast amount of individuals who ceased to view the screen as they were walking past, this demo the power of creative LED to participate with prospective customers and increase footfall within retail stores”Dixons Carphone PLC, Europe’s largest technology retailer and winner of the prestigious retailer of the year accolade at the retail week awards selected Dynamo LED to install 14 LED video displays at their brand-new flagship store on London’s Oxford Street.
