Duchy Holidays aims to meet the demand for staycation holidays in Cornwall with its brand new website for self-catering accommodation in and around Perranporth.

-- Cornish cottage holiday company Duchy Holidays has this month launched a new website to showcase the growing collection of rental properties it has available for staycations on the North Cornwall coast.

The new website at duchyholidays.co.uk has a vibrant, fresh look with added functionality to help holidaymakers research and book self-catering holiday lets in the Perranporth and St Agnes areas of North Cornwall.

With the addition of new properties and improved availability search, the upgraded website makes it easier for users to find and book holiday homes for a staycation on the Cornish coast.

Response to the website upgrade has been positive from owners who promote their holiday properties through the site, as well as holidaymakers looking for self-catering accommodation in this stunning part of Cornwall.

Perranporth-based Duchy Holidays promotes holiday homes to satisfy a wide range of requirements and budgets. The collection includes beach houses, countryside cottages and sea view apartments.

A large proportion of the properties on the new website are located in Perranporth, close to the three-mile sandy beach that is popular with families, surfers and walkers. But the company also has a selection of holiday cottages in the idyllic seaside village of St Agnes and the neighbouring beach community of Porthtowan.

Michelle Robertson from Duchy Holidays commented: “We’re so pleased with our new website, which looks great and gives potential visitors a much better experience.

“We launched the website at perhaps the busiest ever period for Cornish holidays, which was a challenge in itself. But it was worth the effort to get the website in place before the summer.”

Established in 1995, the Cornish company has seen steady growth in the popularity of North Cornwall holidays through various peaks and recessions. But nothing has compared to the level of demand it has experienced in recent weeks.

“The demand for holiday accommodation has been phenomenal thanks to the post-lockdown staycation boom and Cornwall’s high profile in the media due to the G7,” said Michelle Robertson.

She added: “Bookings have been incredibly strong throughout the spring but have certainly accelerated in the last few weeks since the new website went live.

“We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved with the redesign and look forward to helping even more holidaymakers find the ideal accommodation for their staycations in Cornwall.”
