Cheslie Kryst seemed to have it all: the beautiful lawyer was crowned Miss USA in 2019, and used her work as an attorney to fight for social justice. She was also the New York correspondent on the TV show ‘Extra.’ Cheslie was open about her struggles with mental health, speaking in 2019 on the Miss USA Facebook page about how she was seeing a counselor. And yet on Sunday, January 30, she died at the age of 30 after throwing herself from her apartment building in Manhattan.
