SHASTA LAKE, CA–Effective January 1, 2018, Leave It To Nature, a Redding, California area cannabis cooperative has a temporary license to not only sell cannabis for medicinal use but also for those seeking to use the product recreationally.
Leave It To Nature is a cannabis cooperative and has been serving the Shasta Lake, California and surrounding communities by providing a means for patients with cannabis recommendations from the state of California to purchase high-quality cannabis products comfortably and discreetly and at a reasonable price. Beginning on January 1, 2018, the state of California required all retailers of cannabis products to obtain local permits and a state license. Leave It To Nature now holds state Medical and Adult Use temporary retail licenses, which allows the cooperative to continue to serve their medical patients as well as now begin to reach those individuals using cannabis for recreational purposes.
“Having these licenses enables me to continue serving my medical patients, but now I am also beginning to educate many others on the benefits of cannabis as medicine,” states Ms. Stacy Lidie, the owner of Leave It To Nature. “I have always believed that many people that are using cannabis are using it medicinally, without a recommendation card, and now that I am selling recreational, I have seen this to be true. My motives for obtaining both licenses is that I want to reach as many consumers as possible and to erase the stigma surrounding cannabis products by education as many people as possible. Even if that means one at a time. I strongly believe that cannabis is a safe and effective medicine that has the capability to help many people experience a higher and happier quality of life.”
